The Australian League Perth Heat and the Orioles have a partnership together.

Last season Allan de San Miguel, Brenden Webb, Mychal Givens and Aaron Baker played for them.

The roster has not been announced yet, but I am sure they will have a few more players on the club again.

Also, the ABL and Fox have reached a Partnership with Fox Sports and will highlight a 'Game of the Week'.
It's a nice opportunity for us to watch some O's minor leaguers during the off-season.

Based on the guys who went last year, I'd expect someone like Delmonico (if healthy), Ohlman, or Sawyer to be making the trip over there.

I don't think Nick will go over, but Ohlman or Sawyer could definitely. De San Miguel will probably be on that team again I assume. He IS from Australia after all haha.

Never been impressed with Steve, name can only carry you so far and at some point you have to want to put in the work. Hopefully his time with GB in the WBC and now with Perth is a sign that he is ready to put in that work.

Ohlman was obviously a great comeback story this season. Although his work behind the plate improved significantly this season, I think he will benefit greatly from the extra work given how short his season was in 2012.

I am really glad to see Ohlman playing winter ball.
He definitely needs to in order to gain back some lost playing time.

A little surprising that the O's didn't send anyone else over besides those 3 honestly.

Michael Ohlman having a solid AFL season. Hitting .286/.390/.571 in 35 AB (11 Games).

They pretty much always send over three players. There might be a limit on how many non-Australians can be on one team.
