I agree with being skeptical about Mountcastle's defense but I think blaming him for a weird hop on a playing surface he's not normally used to is a bit harsh, the Trop is a weird place to play defense for more experienced guys too

The Trop Has to be a tough place for any outfielder to play.   For a novice like Mountcastle, it has to be brutal.

Congrats to you Bob for actually coming up with 3 for the up side.  The downside rules the week.

 

Wells, was a real good choice.....I think we have something in him, whether it is as a starter or a power arm out of the pen needs to be decided.

This is fair but it was a clear example of something when I didn't have much else to say about him that I hadn't already said somewhat recently.

Perhaps it would be fair to have a week when there just aren't 3 ups (or 3 downs although that's unlikely with this team). Maybe in a week like last week you could change the title to something like this:

 

Three Up Only Because They Were Better Than the Three Down

 

Good job. Tough to find much positives in a week like last week.
