The Orioles are probably the only team that wanted to give him a shot.  He doesn't have much left in the tank, that's for sure.  Kind of sad when you think how dominant he was at one time. 

At times, he has shown stuff, that is good enough to survive.  The last few starts not so much.

The problem with the Orioles has not been pitching.  They just can not hit.   The lineup seems to get a little worse each year.  The holes at 2nd, 3rd, right field and catcher, really let's the pitcher off easy.

Especially with how compromised hitting in general is right now around both leagues.  The Orioles exasperate the problem with little to no talent but this is right now, as futile for a hitter as it was in 1968, minus the ridiculous amount of strikeouts.  There might be 10 no-hitters by the time the season is over.

They may have to lower the mound again.  The strike outs are the frustrating part,  but it is a baseball problem, as much as it is an Oriole problem.

When today’s game got to 3-0, it felt like we should have gotten on the bus and headed home.
