The Orioles said in their game notes today that 85 percent of on-field personnel and those who interact with them are fully vaccinated, meaning the team will have its daily coronavirus health and safety protocols relaxed. Their goal is 100 percent vaccination.

That is good for the team.  Life on the road is tough, but it is made better by being able to leave the room for meals, etc.

 

I actually look at professional sports as evidence that the vaccines are working.

Taijuan Walker was a guy I wanted to see the Orioles pursue this off season.  I think he is a guy who would have been a real building block for a young team.  He has been very good, so far.

The Met fans gave Harvey a nice ovation and welcome back.  He has to be fired up for this game.

Now 3-0 Mets.. Harvey is pitching BP in his return to NY.

Hays has crushed 2 balls, nothing to show for it.

The last few starts he has not had much.  He seems to do better when he is on long rest, either that or he is just not very good.

The Mets up 6-0 in the 5th.  Harvey is done, and now Armstrong is in, and making it worse.

The last few starts he has not had much.  He seems to do better when he is on long rest, either that or he is just not very good.

The Orioles are probably the only team that wanted to give him a shot.  He doesn't have much left in the tank, that's for sure.  Kind of sad when you think how dominant he was at one time.
