Our middle infielders with the exception of Galvis are total zero's at the plate.

The Orioles go quietly in the 5th.
I feel like this is a common theme in many Oriole offensive innings.

I need to start criticizing Stewart. It worked last year. He is in a funk.

DJ is not going to win a GG anytime soon.
Won't matter because he won't be on the next good O's team anyway. I'll be surprised if hes on the O's next year.

Wow. That was an impressive score from 1st. That was scorched and likely only a single if no runners are on.

Mullins can fly. All the way from first on the Hays double.
Hays races to third on the throw home.

Some credit to Mullins for the distraction at 1B.
Leaves it right in the middle and Hays scorches it.
Good speed around the bases and baserunning by Hays to get to 3B.

2 quick outs and Hays is still on third.

I know Mullins is fast, but I don't really think of him as an 80 speed guy for whatever reason, but that is a ball that almost never scores a runner from 1st and Mullins scored well ahead of the throw even if it were on target.

Boy, that was a fun sequence with Hays roping it and Mullins motoring. What a start Mullins is having. Patient at the plate and just crushing the ball when he makes contact.
