(Head spins)
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Is this a one season limited series like The Night Of or will there be multiple seasons?

I know they're trying to do appropriate accents, but I'd find it really hilarious if it's like Ziggy from The Wire to people actually from that area.
It's well acted and interesting enough, but this isn't grabbing me the way a Broadchurch did. Maybe that's a bad point of comparison...

This is certainly entertaining and well done, but I think there's perhaps too much going on for it's own good.
Now that it's over, I'm sticking to this. Actually even worse in my view. The scope of circumstances and drama within this small town and specifically tied to this murder and detective was excessive.

Disagree but you’re entitled to your opinion.
I think the show showed us why she was involved with so much stuff (hometown sports hero, cop, lots of family drama) and the town itself was also a reason for that. Working class town, everyone knows each other, etc.
I have to watch the finale again but there are some loose ends that didn’t get tied up that didn’t make a whole lot of sense but other than that it was an excellent show and probably one of the best of the last twenty years.

I remain stunned regarding that last sentence, but to each their own.
