Wish the first road trip outside the East wasn't a stadium we already spent the entire postseason looking at but I'll survive

Still crazy that The Ballpark in Arlington (which opened up 2 years after OPACY) has already been replaced.

Jorge Lopez. Yuck. Not sure why he's here, even on this 100-loss team.
Career:
9-19
237 IP
6.23 ERA
1.51 WHIP
He is simply not good.

My flight to Dallas leaves tomorrow morning.
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

I havent completely given up on Lopez yet.
He probably should be a BP guy.

The only guy on the roster who baffles me more why he’s here is Wade LeBlanc. Lopez is better than him but Lopez should be the last BP arm even on a 100 loss team.

If they had to bring back a veteran lefty from last year they could've at least chosen Tommy Milone, who at least put together some encouraging starts

Two wild, front shoulder flying open swings to fall behind 0-2. Then takes two very close balls. Fights off a tough pitch foul. Another couple fall balls. Takes strike three that looked inside to me.
Started out of control but ended you showing a lot of what makes him intriguing at the plate. He's got a plan, which almost nobody else on the team does. And even when he gets away from it, found a way to get back on track within the same at bat.
