In addition to the facts laid out in that article:
-2020 was the deadliest year for the US in a century.
-The life expectancy in the US decreased 2 years during the first 6 months of the pandemic.
-Another irrefutable slam dunk differentiator is that 76% of patients hospitalized with covid end up with long term symptoms including things like heart damage.

Putting all of this completely non-fake news aside - how does falsely equating this to the flu help you? Answer that honestly, I'm genuinely curious. It seems to shoot yourself in the foot, unless you somehow like the world being this way. Because the only way out of this mess is to get enough people vaccinated. So I think encouraging and motivating people to get vaccinated is very clearly the right thing to do.

Well, it is cool if those same people will continue to isolate, mask, and social distance until everyone who wants the vaccine can get it. Then it's ok. But something tells me the people that are declining the vaccine are the same ones who don't think they need to take any precautions. Just a hunch.
