From Kenpom, looks like he does just about everything you'd want in a center

Terrible at phonetic spelling, but I believe this is how you pronounce Qudus Wahab - code-is wah-hab.
Here's some highlights and at around the 17 second mark I believe that's how it's being pronounced.

With the post options MD had this past year, he looks like Shaq.

Its just highlights but I will say that Russell looks very quick, has good hands and good vision.

Nice to see a big who does not weigh 180 pounds,
Nice job getting a big guy in quickly

Not a bad day for Coach Turgeon. A big guy and a point guard committing within an hour, nice work.

It would be nice to see Morsell and Wiggins come back.

Which, if history is any indicator, will only make the end result all the more disappointing.

Did the Terps recruit either Russell or Wahab out of high school?
MD was not listed on either one of their 24x7 recruiting profiles. Russell did not appear to have any Power 5 offers out HS.

Agree that Ayala seems like our best hope there, and I do think he ultimately returns.
Two very important additions. Hard not to imagine what last year’s roster would’ve looked like with this type of transfer success. Morsell and Wiggins are all but officially gone, at this point just have to hope Ayala returns.

I had not heard, that Ayala was considering leaving. Losing Wiggins, Morsell and Ayala leave next years roster, challenged even with the additions.
