Rest of the Big Ten

#6 Michigan

#7 Purdue

#11 Illinois

#17 Ohio State

MSU was the top also receiving votes so that's #26 if you wanna get technical

It seems strange that Izzo and MSU are not in the top 10.

Good for him.

Make that a talking point on the recruiting trail, Turge!

Yep, have to feel good for Huerter.  He has done well in Atlanta.

Its interesting because I don't really think of Ayala as a shooting guard or Scott as a power forward.

Positions in basketball mean less and less every year.

In just 48 hours, Maryland students have claimed nearly all of the tickets in the student section for the team's first four games (including their exhibition against Fayetteville State). Their game against George Washington is already set to go to a lottery. I mentioned it on last night's episode of Talking Terps, but students will be even more hungry to attend games this season after being unable to go to any last year. Home court advantage should be back in a big way.

I bought a 4 game pack. Can't wait. Glad to hear the student section will be abuzz this year. That could help matters.

Hopefully the crowd will be back to its loudest, after not being allowed in last year.   I think the crowds seemed louder in football (Ravens games) and even the baseball playoffs.

Get loud Terp fans.

The Richmond Spiders, whom the Terps play Thanksgiving night, are in a close game with #101 Utah St. Richmond is #70th.

Their 6’10” 255 lb. Center Grant Golden had 16 points with 2 minutes remaining in the 1st half. He will be an interesting matchup for Wahab. I think Wahab will struggle defending him. He’s a really good shooter, nailed a couple nice 3’s too.

But Richmond is very bad defensively.
