How is that the shot you come up with out of a timeout?
Again, I saw none of the game today... but this post doesn't surprise me at all.

With 9:38 left, MD's win probability was 96.5%.
With 4 minutes left, MD's win probability was 87%.
With 2:09 left, MD's win probability was 66.8%.
Over the last 9:38, MD was outscored 30-11.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

So when they announced Big Ten athletics were resuming, would you have traded a 16-point win for the football team against PSU in exchange for the MBB team going 0-2 vs PSU?

Given they're gonna lose to MSU and miss the tourney, no. I'd much rather have a result where they dance. This sucks. Just beyond brutal.

Just pathetic on so many levels.
You have back-to-back games against bottom dwellers in the conference and you blow a 9-0 start and a 12-0 start. Erases any bit of goodwill Turgeon had earned with that stretch in the middle of the season.
I think they still make the tourney but certainly not much confidence in them winning another game for the rest of the year.

I’ll be perfectly fine if they don’t make it. When you do most of the hard work to punch your ticket, but can’t show up for two very winnable games to seal the deal, you don’t deserve it.
And it took longer than usual this season, but a Mark Turgeon team finally did what Mark Turgeon teams do at the end of their seasons. I’m going to try and be optimistic and interpret Damon Evans’ non-answers to recent questions regarding Turgeon’s contract is a ray of hope.

Yep. Brutal. Just brutal. This really sucks.
Didn't see the game or score. Isaw the thread was 6 pages and by page 4 we were up relatively big midway through the 2nd half. The rest of the thread was a shocking gut punch.

Sounds like somebody got out coached.

Under Turgeon, we see these stretches where there is just no offense. Not only did the offense disappear again at the worst time, but defensively they played poorly the last 10 minutes. A total collapse. Unfortunately it is the trademark of recent Maryland teams.
I am mad at myself, for getting hopeful after the 5 game winning streak. I think they likely lose to MSU and at that point they do not deserve to be in the tourney.

And his team got outworked.

Maybe its for the best longterm
I still would be shocked if they got rid of Turgeon. I suspect we see another wave of transfers, so maybe that along with another bad year signals an end for him.

You were the big winner, since you missed the game. The NW game was terrible, last night was way beyond that. The game was over and they went to great length to give it away.

I dont either. He will be here, for the life of his contract.
his gameplay, Xs and Os, leaves a lot to be desired, at least IMO.
Players getting out played, sometimes takes shuffling the players on the floor with the bench and giving them a pep talk or butt kicking, depending on the player.
