Great win.  I think if they go 2-1 down the stretch, frankly it would be shocking if they didn't get in.  Wouldn't quite call them a lock but they would have no business not getting an invite if that happens.  Honestly I think they're pretty safe even if they go 1-2 after this win today, but it would certainly be more dicey

I think if the Terps beat MSU next Sunday, they at worst go 2-1, which I think makes them a lock.  Going 10-10 in conference with their 5 Q1 wins, should make it a no brainer.

Maryland doesn't play their next game until Sunday against Michigan State, but the Spartans play twice this week. Those are both home games before they travel to College Park, but neither one is easy against Illinois and Ohio State. Interesting scheduling to say the least.

That bodes well for Maryland.  I feel like the Terps could use some time off, especially Morsell, who I think the Terps need to beat MSU.  

I think Maryland's guards will carry the game against the Spartans.

 

MSU playing Illinois and Ohio State could be good or bad for Maryland.  If the Spartans somehow win those 2, they come to CP hoping to salvage their season.  If they lose both they likely come in tired and disappointed.

I never like a game where Turgeon matches game moves, with the likes of Tom Izzo, but this feels like a good spot for Maryland.

Yeah seems like a win-win for Maryland at this point if MSU boosts its NET/Kenpom/etc as much as possible before coming to College Park

Izzo's teams get better as the year goes on.A Maryland win on Sunday will be a good win.
