Credit where credit's due - they closed this one out emphatically. Get it done tomorrow, and things are looking pretty solid IMO.

Maryland isn't good enough to play that way. But Nebraska is absolutely bad enough to look at that way so I can see why they fell into that trap.

Played a lot like a team that knew they'd win against an inferior opponent.

If the goal was to spend as littler energy as possible, play ugly and win, Mission Accomplished,

Yes everyone is eligible, this year doesn't count. So is everyone playing this year eligible for a 5th year? Could really help MD if Ayala and Wiggins decide to stick around for an extra year because it seems the underclassmen guards here arent B10 caliber. Paul Lewis seems to be the next potential PG and ge doesnt get here til '22
I can't see Wiggins doing it, but everyone else is in play. Just a question on if they wanna go make money overseas or play another year.

Wiggins and Ayala are juniors,
Not sure about the freshman guards. Turgeon will not give them a chance,
Morsell could come back for a 5th year, but he has to be tempted to hit the transfer portal

Easier said than done but just get that Wiggins every night and you have no excuse to not make the tournament

Yeah, I think it would be nice if Ayala sticks around for the '22-23 season. Just dont think we have another B10 caliber 1 on the roster. Granted I've barely watched and I know Dockery and Smart arent getting run but the fact that they arent getting min over Mona is telling.Wiggins and Ayala are juniors,

Mona I think plays as a message to starting guys. Not because he's currently better than other options.

Where is Wiggins gonna go? It might not be at MD but Id bet on him playing a 5th yr in college. Unless he takes a nice step forward next year but that seems unlikely at this point.Yes everyone is eligible, this year doesn't count.

I think he's got a shot at NBA. He's got the athleticism, size, and skills. Just gotta put it together.Where is Wiggins gonna go? It might not be at MD but Id bet on him playing a 5th yr in college. Unless he takes a nice step forward next year but that seems unlikely at this point.
Even if not the NBA, almost all of these guys can make money overseas, Wiggins likely having the biggest earnings potential. I'd have quit college after 3 years if I could've made 6 figures working in Italy or Australia or Japan. That life sounds amazing.

Terps jump to #30 in KenPom’s rankings after the win.
Very nice.

They're down to 32 so I guess someone close to them had their win entered into the formula right after that

Regardless, #32 is now one spot higher than the final ranking of the 2014-15 team, if you need more evidence of how much analytics was skeptical of that team

That team won almost every close game. It wasn't a fluke, they were built for it. Certainly a model-breaker in that regard.

Yeah, thats probably my fav team of the Turge era. That team would smack this team around.
