Means, and other O's got vaccinated today, so a lackluster effort tonight isn't a huge deal. He said he felt tired from the get go.

I wonder if Trey has gotten the vaccine?

I really hope so. I would think he'd be a top priority.

I think the release of Sanchez means the Orioles are likely to keep one of the Rule 5 guys.  Wells seems to be the one who has stood out, but both have done well.

Looks like he's played 2nd twice as a professional.  He is a capable fielder, but seems like a tough ask to be ready to play 2nd in the bigs with basically zero prep. It's not like (at-least as far as I know) he's been working there all Spring.  If he could be adequate at 2nd, it would be interesting.  Could be a nice stop-gap this year until you brought up Jones.

The Orioles have had trouble turning the DP since Hardy, Manny and Schoop left, it is a hard thing to see Ruiz doing it.  Interesting idea though

Orioles rotation:

John Means
Matt Harvey
Bruce Zimmermann
Jorge Lopez
Dean Kremer

Both rule 5 picks (Tyler Wells and Mac Sceroler) have been informed they’ve made the team.

I am really happy for Zimmerman and the 2 R5 kids.  They earned it in ST.

Lopez pitched his way onto the rotation too.

Matt Harvey is scheduled to get the ball on the Opening Day in Baltimore.  Unless there is a rainout that changes the rotation.
