No, I think it ended up just grazing his elbow shield. In the clear, for now.
Hays does seem to be a magnet for injuries. Glad he dodged the bullet this time.

The only thing left are the tools of ignorance.

The Orioles are losing to the Yankees 4-1 in the 4th. Paul Fry was knocked around, giving up 3 runs in the 3rd.
The oldest overnight sensation Cesar Valdez struck out the side in the 4th.

Mickey Jannis the knuckleballer with a clean 5th for the Orioles.
A knuckleballer following Valdez. A junk ball convention.

The Orioles lose a 7 inning game to the Yankees, 4-2.
The good news is after Fry got knocked around, the last 4 Orioles that pitched, Valdez, Jannis, Scott and Sulser threw perfect innings.
The only hitter that stood out was Mullins who was 2 for 3, including a triple and an RBI.
The rest of the group accounted for 2 hits.

Some prospects got some playing time.
Rutschman, Nevin, Henderson, McKenna, Westburg, Diaz and Hall all saw action.

Hall made a nice play in the field and Rutschman drew a walk. (I caught the last couple innings on the radio driving home from work.)

MASN: This, That, and The Other 3/3
I really wish MLB had stayed with a 28 man roster for this year. It would have allowed the teams to manage the innings count for pitchers without playing with just a 3 man bench for position players.

Nice to see Hays get off to a fast start.
Also good to see Adley have a big hit today. Build the confidence in the spring.

I am interested to see how Harvey does. In a spring training where results are secondary to getting geared up for the regular season, I think the results do matter for Harvey and Felix.
