Mike's picks all look pretty reasonable
I can probably talk myself into beating Iowa on primetime with a good crowd, Iowa feels like a team that generally gets much weaker once they're outside Kinnick

Maryland’s game against Minnesota on October 23 will kickoff at 3:30 and be broadcast on ESPN2.
Remarkable lack of noon kickoffs this year lol

Anyone willing to go on the record with their predictions for the season? I gotta say, I'm having a really tough time forming expectations for this team, based on them only playing 5 games last year and how wildly inconsistent they were in those games.
Howard is the only certain win. Ohio State is all but a certain loss. Indiana and Penn State are very likely losses. Iowa and Michigan probably are too. WV, Illinois, Kent State, Minnesota, Michigan State and Rutgers are the toss-ups where they have little margin for error. I think if they are going to make a bowl game, a 4-0 start could be a must, as the middle portion of the schedule is brutal. They have to avoid going into too much of a mental tailspin during that stretch that they can't bounce back to pick up what will probably be needed wins against MSU and Rutgers. My confidence level in these picks is only about a 6, and might be too optimistic, but here goes:
9/4 vs. West Virginia W
9/11 vs. Howard W
9/17 at Illinois W
9/25 vs. Kent State W
10/1 vs. Iowa L
10/9 at Ohio State L
10/23 at Minnesota L
10/30 vs. Indiana L
11/6 vs. Penn State L
11/13 at Michigan State W
11/20 vs. Michigan L
11/27 at Rutgers W
Looking good so far.

Looking good so far.
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

MAN !!!! I was just hoping the Terps would at least compete against the top teams. I hope these blowout loses does not hurt their recruiting.

Minnesota lost to Bowling Green and Maryland beat them last year, that should definitely be a win unless another 12 guys get injured

I believe the Terps will win against Minnesota.

Minnesota and Indiana look much more winnable now than when the season started, especially with key injuries to Ibrahim and Penix, respectively. Michigan State is more likely a loss now.

Yeah just go 2-1 from the IU/Rutgers/Minn group and you've got a bowl for the first time since 2016. You can argue if that alone is a success but it should be pretty manageable without worrying about the three ranked teams left

The only game they should be thinking about.
Have the bye to get healthier, game plan, etc.
Chance to get even in league play. A game you need to have....
Minnesota has Nebraska this weekend. Know Minnesota lost to Bowling Green, but that's easily a game MD can lose.
Last year's game was very competitive.
