After snagging their first home conference victory over Purdue on Tuesday, the Terps will hit the road to face Penn State on Friday night in search of their first consecutive conference wins. The Nittany Lions currently hold a 6-8 (3-7) record and are coming off of a 16-point loss to Wisconsin on Tuesday night. They've been hit particularly hard by COVID-19, with 6 of their games already postponed due to issues both within their own program and externally. Home games have been good for them, as they've lost just one of their conference contests in University Park this season.
KenPom currently ranks Penn State as the #38 team in the country, while Maryland comes in at #41.
