There will be a new preseason tourney next season at the Baha Mar in The Bahamas. It’ll be a four-team high-major men’s event with an eight-team mid-major field and four high-major women’s teams. The men’s high-major field will tentatively consist of Maryland, Mississippi State, NC State and Xavier, sources told Stadium.

They're playing Florida at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Dec 12. Last time they played there, IIRC, was Turgeon's second season when they opened against defending champ Kentucky.

They actually played there in 2017 as part of the Barclays Classic against Richmond and Kansas State.

MBB and WBB both doing a Thanksgiving weekend tournament in the Bahamas

MBB with a chance to play Louisville, which seems like it'd be a strong matchup

Glad Michigan State will be once students are back on campus, it's always felt a little awkward for homecourt advantage how long UMD's winter break is

I'm annoyed that they only play Michigan once and not at home.

Only one December game in-conference this year. Wonder if that's because of how the calendar falls or it's a change in how many off days teams get after Jan 1.

So far the non-conference schedule doesn't look half bad.  The Bahama tourney has a pretty strong field, and then we have Florida and whoever we draw for the ACC/B1G challenge.  I'd be pretty happy with that slate of games.
