Maryland will stay on the road after their blowout loss to Michigan, as they'll face #17 Minnesota on Saturday afternoon. The Golden Gophers currently hold a record of 11-4 (4-4), with their last win coming over Michigan last weekend. They also have conference victories over Iowa, Michigan State, and Ohio State. Their conference losses have come to Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, and Wisconsin. They also have a notable non-conference win over Saint Louis.

 

KenPom currently ranks Minnesota as the #22 team in the country. Maryland comes in at #51.

Minnesota efficient on offense and defense, and they also play with some tempo. 

 

After their 25 point loss at Michigan, they beat the Wolverines by 18 at home two games later. 

Three of their top 4 scores are guards, which gives MD a chance (not a front-court dominated team). 
Their second leading scorer though is Center Liam Robbins (7' 235 lbs, Jr), who averages 13.8 ppg, and 7.3 boards. 

He's a bit inconsistent, but he's coming off a 22 & 8 performance vs. Michigan. He also went for 27 & 14 earlier in the month vs. Ohio State.
