They're not trying very hard either. There's been a lot of flat footed watching on the boards while Indy is getting their feet off the floor and going over them...

It's the Turgeon way... I don't get it... No cohesive offense once again...

Feel like they just can't play a full 40 minutes against quality opponents outside of the Wisconsin game. There's been good 20/30 minute stretches but they're either done in by a slow start (Purdue) or like tonight the opponent pulls away in the second half

Scott, Hamilton, and Ayala in particular looked flat tonight.

This 2nd half is just awful. What a disappointing loss given how well they payed in the first half. Some positives overall tonight, but a super disappointing result.

They are a collection of pieces,  They had a lead, got hit in the mouth and fell apart,

Wisconsin game aside, this is a bad team.

Indiana kind of fell apart to the press toward the end, but they got a real lucky no-call on the backcourt violation and Maryland couldn't hit their shots.  We needed to press harder earlier.

22 points and 10 rebounds from Wiggins on over 50% shooting was nice at least

I have been thinking about last nights game, and it really points out why Turgeon can not build up a head of steam and make the program, what it could be.

1.  Reese Mona played 12 minutes and guys like Dockery, Smart get 0 minutes and Graham played 3.  I get Graham.  He just got here, but Smart and Dockery should play before Mona.  Both are raw, but both can handle and are quick, which is an area of need for the Terps.  Not playing guys especially when this years team is very lacking is a reason why players are always transfering.

2.  Turgeon was playing zone when Smith and Marial were in the game.  Neither can get out to cover the corners in the 3-2 zone.  Marial really has no role.  Other than being tall, Marial really brings nothing.

3.  Scott and Hamilton---they both played very hard last night but neither are 4 or 5's.  Scott really worked on the boards last night, but having to try to guard guys like Davis is killing their offensive game.

4.  Pressure defense.  It is a waste of air to talk about it, because Turg, does not believe in it and only uses it when he is desperate, but the Terps are decent at it.  It should be a regular part of the game plan.

This program IMO, could be so much better.  The good news, is Iowa is next.  Garza and Iowa should be no problem.

Yeah, I may skip that game. How many will Garza score? It took a miraculous 38 minute effort from Jalen Smith to hold him to 21 points and 4 rebounds last time we faced him. Tomorrow, he's going to be able to get what he wants when he wants it.

If Garza watched the tape from the Michigan game and saw how easy Dickinson scored he can not wait to get to CP.

Turgeon is probably drafting some ingenious defensive scheme to use against him. :-P
