After two straight road games, Maryland returns home to host Michigan for a New Year's Eve matchup. The Wolverines currently have a record of 7-0 (2-0) in Juwan Howard's second year as head coach, and are ranked #16 in the country. They have conference victories over Nebraska and Penn State, and non-conference wins against Ball State, Bowling Green, Oakland, Toledo, and UCF.

KenPom currently ranks Michigan as the 15th-best team in the country.

Maryland needs to build off Monday's win, and beat Michigan at CP.  A win tomorrow, creates some momentum and confidence.  It would also be the second nice resume win.

Maryland is up to 37th in KenPom after the Wisconsin victory. In this conference, resume building opportunities will be plentiful. They just need to take advantage and play hard. Defense = effort, and I've been impressed the past couple times out on that end of the floor particularly.

I agree, I think the Terps played with great intensity in both the Purdue and Wisconsin games.  I think it is tougher this year with no fans, but they need to bring it for every game if they are going to have a decent year.
