Trying to compute all these numbers and scenarios has given me a headache. Knowing I should root for Pittsburgh the next couple weeks is making me nauseous. Just rename this The Hangover Thread.

Jon Gruden sucks. Who doesn't see a fake punt coming on 4th and 1 at the 50? Who has a 3rd and 1 with Josh Jacobs, and doesn't just hand it to him twice and get the first down?

I hate our season basically weighing on the shoulders of Vegas and Pittsburgh. All Miami does is throw short passes and run the ball with average RB's, and somehow teams can't stop it.

Yup. Very frustrating. At least their defense has played well.

On top of that it sucks they stole Waller from us.

Well, in fairness a lot of teams do that on 3rd if they know they are going on 4th.  Same philosophy as taking a shot on 2nd and 1 instead of just running it.  You figure you might get a big play off of a defense that is thinking run.  I've seen the Ravens do it on 3rd and short and then go on 4th.  But that is the flaw with the strategy.  If you think you're that tough to stop running the ball then having two shots at it can only increase your percentage of success.  And if the defense thought you were going to run on 3rd down and you miss the big play, they KNOW you are going to run it on 4th.

Those are very good stats but I can tell you from watching the games the Ravens best shot left is the Steelers beating the Colts. I could be wrong and the Raiders could beat the Dolphins Sat. but I don't see it. I thought the Ravens were in a precarious position 2 weeks ago and now I think it's worse. If I had to put money down tonight I'd say that if the Steelers don't beat the Colts the Ravens don't make the playoffs. There's only one game left in my opinion.

I wish I was wrong.

Pitt is winning tomorrow but its not our only out anyway. I still believe we get in at 11-5 somehow.
