Orioles added RHP Conner Greene on a minor league deal this week. An interesting flyer to see what happens.

Former Top 100 prospect with the Toronto Blue Jays, a fastball that can reach 100 mph and is graded as a "plus-plus" pitch with a slider, curve, and changeup.

Starter for much of his career but has been working mainly as a reliever in Triple-A in 2018 and 2019.

Big issue is the walks. 117 of them over his last 200 innings. A good test for player development to see what they can do with him.

Yeah, if you can throw 100 mph you can get a job in organized baseball.

Just ther fact that a human being can throw 100MPH or more impresses me.

I cant remember his name. Orioles had a guy in their pen one time. True 100+ Hit, and it had ZERO movement on it.

Opposite team was launching HRs into outer space at 300+ MPH. :)

I mean, I like heat, dont get me wrong, but I want to see movement on it, and be mostly unhittable. :)

Tommy Hunter hit 100. Can't remember if Sarfarte did or not. He sucked though.

No doubt.  I have seen hard throwers, down through theyears who were not good, but just the ability to throw 100 MPH is incredible.

Jorge Julio?

Artmando Benitez....He did not suck, but he did some real damage to the team at the worst times.

Way off topic, did you know he became basically the best pitcher in Japan? Even won an MVP as a reliever I believe.

Don't we need to add him back to the Orioles? :)

Weird year for him....orioles (DFA) ....DODGERS (DFA) ....back to the orioles.

I guess you're on a ML mound so there's that.

Apparently he's coming back as a FA. Elias must love his spin rate.

He is putting the band back together.  They did so well last year.  Where is ERshelman?
