Tree Theater, Lotus and Nightmares on Wax were my 3 top played artists this year. Been very into the low tempo, instrumental and jam band thing lately.
Enjoyed your list. I like Tame Impala. Definitely laughed at the Cry Me a River Justin Timberlake appearance in there in an otherwise mostly obscure list of songs lol. Rough break up recently for ya?
Honestly no lol, I watched Lady Bird and they play that song in a party scene and it reminded that it's a really great song. I listened to it all the time for a couple weeks but didn't give it much attention besides that, it wasn't a constant in my rotation compared to the other ones at the top

Spotify and Reddit are two things that seem extremely popular that I don't understand how they work.
But the only new music I listened to this year was Metallica's S&M 2.

What do you use for music if not Spotify?

My iTunes library. I'd say 75% of it is from CDs I had ripped to my hard drive well over a decade ago. 25% from using a youtube to mp3 converter.
I'm not hip to anything new, so my library does the job.
