I think the Ravens will keep it close, but will be unable to make the necessary plays to win, like most close games this year.

Jesus. Sunday is going to be a disasterpiece.
You're probably right. But from a glass half full perspective, if they can somehow remain competitive at Pittsburgh, that emotional boost increases the chance of running the table and sliding into the playoffs. Granted, this team does not appear to be a serious contender, but anything can - and often does - happen.

IMO, there is no way Sunday happens. 12 Ravens are now positive. We would have to dress the entire PS group and still probably have players out of position.

Yeah there has to be a set number of players out means cancellation. But this will impact the playoffs and they will avoid everything they can to avoid doing that.

The game will played as long as the Ravens stop testing positive and the NFL is satisfied that the spread has stopped. The NFL does not care about the competitive disadvantage one team has, they only care about not spreading it further and contributing to an even larger outbreak. They could still move the game to Monday or Tuesday and move the Ravens/Cowboys game to the weekend. After that they are running out of options. Bottom line is that most of whom the Ravens have out now will likely be out for two games so they better have a contingency plan in place.

I know. What does two extra days prove? Not much.

Actually, if everyone is following the protocols (ok, stop laughing), if no other names are being added by Monday it would signal that the spread has stopped. There is an incubation period where if you have been exposed, if you don't show positive by a certain length of time you most likely aren't going to be positive. That's why those not testing positive but who have been exposed can be cleared to play after 5 days. That's based on CDC guidance. Theoretically, if the facilities have been closed, and the players have not had contact with anyone exposed since Wednesday, the team could be cleared by Monday, minus those who tested positive. I believe it was Wednesday since anyone was allowed in the facility. What happens between now and Monday will be critical.
This could be the NFL's worst nightmare. There are now covid concerns in Cleveland, LA, and Denver as well. With close eyes on Tennessee who just played the Ravens. If massive outbreaks start occurring on multiple teams, the NFL could be faced with putting a pause on the season for a few weeks to try to get it under control.

Which would make sense and be perfectly fine. I've never understood why the NFL started their seasons so early in the stinking heat and humidity for over a month before it finally started to get cooler. Baseball is still playing their regular season in September too. Maybe it started out trying to spare fans from sitting in the stands in bitterly cold weather in January/February but the season could go right through to March for all I care.

They should have to forfeit. 😉

And now it sounds like a bunch of Steelers players are coming down with COVID.
They should have to forfeit.
How can that be. Those jerks know how to manage their Covid business. At least that is what they said.

What do you mean first? 3 were added yesterday. Or do you mean he was patient zero with their outbreak?
