Colleges should start offering bigger NIL money but getting a cut of the back-end.  Like Fantex did, but through the school.  Wonder if anyone would go for that or if the potential NBA money is just so stupid big now that it wouldn't make sense.

Young had an excellent performance in Denver’s Summer League game against Indiana tonight. Scored 18 points with 7 rebounds and 2 assists in 26 minutes off the bench.

The bad news for Young is that Trey Alexander has also been lighting it up, and is already signed to a two-way contract. So unless they cut Jalen Pickett (which they probably should) and sign Alexander to the active roster, Young is probably the odd man out.

Still an uphill battle for him to get minutes with Denver as it stands, even with Jamal Murray banged up at the moment.

Actually he is signing with the Lakers. Could get meaningful minutes with them after they voided the Mark Williams trade.

Chicago has signed Young to a two-way contract after his participation in the Up Next Game during the NBA's All-Star Weekend. He was one of the top G-League performers without a two-way deal until now, and has averaged 22.4 points, 7.3 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals so far this season.
