Wow, I remember some of these, didnt seen quite a few.

 

I remember Shutter's Island, and boy did that have a twist at the end, that I never even came close to seeing.

 

Even the wife missed it, and she is a serious sleuth detective on these things.

 

I see Dallas and Bobby waking up in the Shower, not making the list. Im not a fan of the show, but you have to admit, I dont think that plot line was ever attempted before, and I guess it sucked, as it hasnt been repeated.

I feel like they should have mentioned The Crying Game.  That's one where I went in knowing there was a plot twist, and still never saw it coming.

Entrapment was a funny movie, with so many twists, you had a hard time remembering who was good and who was bad.

 

I did like Pierce Bronson's Thomas Crown affair that was another well done movie.

I remember guessing correctly that Willis’ character in The Sixth Sense was dead before I saw the film since everyone was saying there was a twist ahead of time but it still took a second viewing to see how they legitimately pulled it off. That one wins for me. 
 

I was raised on SW films so I don’t remember the first viewing I had of ESB where I was shocked, or even old enough to comprehend what was happening. It was just always a part of the movie for me. 
 

And to this day I hate the twist in Fight Club. Tylder Durden could have been real and I don’t think it takes away anything from the story or the film. If anything it improves it.

Feel like Ned's beheading should be ranked higher. I took a GOT history class that required us to watch season 1 and was kinda meh on it but as soon Ned got beheaded, I was locked in to binge the rest of it.

There was a Game of Thrones History class that people who hadn't seen Game of Thrones or read the books signed up for?

Seems like a really fun idea for a class (I took a class that was about Tolkien and LOTR, ended up being more focused on linguistics), but I'm a bit surprised that anyone unfamiliar with the series would enroll.

There was a Game of Thrones History class that people who hadn't seen Game of Thrones or read the books signed up for?

Seems like a really fun idea for a class (I took a class that was about Tolkien and LOTR, ended up being more focused on linguistics), but I'm a bit surprised that anyone unfamiliar with the series would enroll.

I wanted to do a winter class online and it seemed like the most interesting option, no regrets

Here's the course outline, it was definitely a good use of three weeks between in-person semesters

Sounds like a cool course.  What department was the course based in?  Seems like it touches an aspects of Literature, History, and maybe even some Sociology.

History, was a 300-level class so we had a decent workload of doing readings and research. I did a short paper about eunuchs because I liked Varys and was curious how often that sort of thing happened irl.

What a fantastic twist. And everything after that is pretty good, too!
