Maryland seems to be in a very good spot to land him.

Some buzz swirling about Charlotte transfer PG Jahmir Young. He’s a former DeMatha product who’s started every game since his freshman year with the 49ers. He should have two years of eligibility remaining, and averaged 20 points per game last year.
Maryland seems to be in a very good spot to land him.
It sounds like they are working the PG market hard. Hopefully once the first domino falls, we will see a run of recruits and transfers heading to CP.

5-star G Skyy Clark (Monteverde, FL), the best available point guard in the 2022 class, has included Maryland in his listed Top 6. Other schools he's considering include Illinois, Louisville, Tennessee, USC, and Washington. He was previously committed to Kentucky, and originally hails from Nashville, TN.
Clark has committed to Illinois.

Sounds like he’ll either be playing at Maryland or heading to the NBA, and staying in college seems to be the likely outcome. Barring a major shift, he should be a Terp next season. Some buzz swirling about Charlotte transfer PG Jahmir Young. McNeilly has decommitted from Maryland and re-opened his recruitment.
Junior college guard Cashius McNeilly has committed to Maryland. He spent a year at Texas A&M in 2019, opted out of the 2020 season, and has been playing at the JuCo level this year. He was rated as a 3-star recruit out of high school in Canada.

Keep an eye on former North Carolina G Anthony Harris, who entered the transfer portal tonight. He's a former 4-star recruit and native of Woodbridge, VA. Willard, Billmeier, and Skinn are familiar with him, as Seton Hall offered him a scholarship out of high school (as did Maryland).
He was never able to break through with the Tar Heels, and played in just 35 games during his three seasons in Chapel Hill.

I had forgotten he had signed with the Terps.
I think that makes 7 open scholarships.

Thanks Zack with all the updates.
It is going to be fun, when the recruits start to come in. I want to see Willard and the gang to do all they can to be competitive in 22-23, but maybe keeping a few scholarships in hand for the next year.

It's a real shame to see him go.

Glenelg is in Glenelg
Or do you mean Glenelg Country School (private)? That may be Ellicott City.
