Maybe they can bring Bino back to work with Willard. I think it's more than coincidence that HS recruiting took a cliff dive once he left.

That’d definitely be an early test as to whether or not they’re willing to invest in assistant coach salaries. He took a pretty large raise at DePaul.

Steph Curry was a 3-star recruit. Believe it or not, recruiting rankings don’t tell you everything about a high school athlete.
Oh boy. 3 star bball recruits!!

Weird you're going to be critical over 3 star recruits while praising what Elias is doing with the current product in Baltimore.

Apples and oranges my dude. If only it took a few thousand and hookers to get premium FAs in baseball

4-star F Tyrell Ward (DeMatha) has requested a release from his NLI with Xavier. He’ll become a top local target for Willard, along with 3-star F Noah Batchelor (IMG) and 3-star G Bryce Lindsay (St. Frances).
Getting Ward a Dematha kid, would be a great start for KW. Opening up the Dematha pipeline is something that needs to happen

Dushawn London reports that Maryland has reached out to Penn State transfer Sam Sessoms. The Terps have a need at the point guard position, and Willard is looking to fill that quickly.
Looks like a nice target. He averaged nearly 20 points and 5 assists a game in 2019-20 - If he can get back to that form, that'd be a tremendous contribution from the 1 next season.

Interesting that his min were cut his last two years vs his fresh-sophomore years. Anyway yes, looks to be a fine 1 yr target.

Yeah, I'd want to learn more about that. I do know PSU endured a coaching change this past season, so that could explain 2021-22 - not sure about 2020-21.

He played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Binghamton. Transferred to Penn State in 2020, spent the first year as a backup and started 10 games last season.

With Patrick Ewing adding Kevin Nickelberry to his staff today (LSU’s interim head coach), Georgetown becomes the leader for Murray.LSU transfer G Brandon Murray has entered the transfer portal. He’s a former Top-100 recruit from Baltimore and Maryland state high school player of the year who Turgeon never pursued.

5-star G Skyy Clark (Monteverde, FL), the best available point guard in the 2022 class, has included Maryland in his listed Top 6. Other schools he's considering include Illinois, Louisville, Tennessee, USC, and Washington. He was previously committed to Kentucky, and originally hails from Nashville, TN.

Jon Rothstein reporting that Maryland is targeting Colorado transfer Keeshawn Barthelemy. He was the Buffaloes’ starting point guard as a sophomore last season, and averaged 11.1 points per game.
He would be a real get. From what I am reading he is a true point and not a combo guard.

Barthelemey from Colorado was also mentioned yesterday as a potential target.
And probable a long shot if we're even involved, but All-Big 12 PG Nijel Pack is transferring from KSU. Perhaps the top transfer target in the country?
