I think besides developing a QB and all the young talent, the most important is show some fight.

Too many absolute blow outs in past years.  That needs to stop.

Not catch COVID.

Yeah at this point if they can finish the season with no suspended games, they'll have done better than like 25% of the programs that already started playing

It is hard to see them being able to pull it off.....the kids will need to avoid, as much as possible, the other kids on campus.  One must see, party, will be the test.

Make it through 8 games without having to have a LB start games at QB.

With just 2 scholarship QBs on the roster, and Maryland being Maryland, this will be a huge challenge.

Who would be the third option if the usual happens?

Who would be the third option if the usual happens?

From Zack's QB preview:
https://baltimorespo...w-quarterbacks/

Eric Najarian (Sophomore)

2020 Projection: Third-Team
2019 Statistics: Did Not Play

Najarian walked onto the team last season as a freshman after spending three years as the starting quarterback at DeMatha Catholic High School in nearby Hyattsville.

I’ve projected Najarian to serve as the third-string quarterback in 2020. With the departures of Tyrrell Pigrome, Tyler DeSue, and Max Bortenschlager, Najarian is currently third in line for snaps.

David Foust (Freshman)

2020 Projection: Fourth-Team
2019 Statistics (High School): N/A

Foust joins the team as a preferred walk-on from South River High School in nearby Edgewater, and has a good chance to earn a scholarship when all is said and done. Last year, he threw for over 2,700 yards and posted an impressive 34:4 touchdown-to-interception ratio while leading his team to a 10-1 record.

I’ve projected Foust to serve as the fourth-string quarterback in 2020, but he’ll be given every opportunity to compete with Najarian for the third-string job.

Thanks Chris.

The Md QB position always seems to be in flux. It would not be the least bit surprising if they finish the year with a walk on.

In addition to Najarian and Foust, Locksley brought in Josh Ettlinger from Gilman as a walk-on. So the walk-on quarterbacks outnumber the ones on scholarship this year. They'll gain Evan Lewandowski in 2021 after he sits out a year after transferring from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Hopefully the Terps can keep both Tua and Lagendre healthy.  Let’s hope
