The old with us or against us conundrum. Like the world only has two outcomes for every decision.

There was a really cool social psych experiment done on this at some school a while back. It was almost like a choose your own adventure book but you had to choose one or the other outcome from a bunch of situations and they all snowballed into what your next choices were basically creating a set of beliefs from black or white answers. An overwhelming number of people did not like the people they became because of the linear answers.

If you find it online, hit me up. Sounds interesting.

I’ll go hunt for it and see if I can find it again. Might be in a peer reviewed journal. Remember reading it when I was in my senior year for one of my classes but it was pretty interesting.

Figure this would be the best thread to discuss the Chauvin verdict. Guilty for second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.

Good. Also this:

Howard Bryant
All you need to know about this country is that the conviction of an obvious murder is considered an “historic moment in American history.”

Glad the jury got it right. Such a relief.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

I wish I could find joy in this but I can't. There should be no reason that he shouldn't have been buried under the jail. Having to brace for a possible acquittal is...bonkers, to be honest.

And then...

It sounds like there's video of the whole thing and they're trying to get it out ASAP.
