Smoke and mirrors but yeah for now on this team it's kind of fun.

Valdez is fun to watch right now.
He is the Doug Jones type you were asking for.

Is Iglesias the front runner now? He also missed significant time. Severino?

Kind of think it will be Alberto, Nunez, or Severino. Who finishes hot?
Iglesias does lead in fWAR, Severino right behind.

Has the Os MVP race become any clearer than when I asked last time. I guessed Alberto and its not going to be him. Others guessed Santander and while he does still lead in WAR he's gonna miss nearly half the season.

Probably still Santander, but good question. The good news is more than a few have done better than expected.

Alberto might not even finish with a positive WAR or .700 OPS. Think he is out unless he absolutely mashes the last 10 days.Kind of think it will be Alberto, Nunez, or Severino. Who finishes hot?

I'm not sure the voters will care.

Yes, I'd take Iglesias. Not sure he gets the recognition he should - hitting in the .370's while playing hurt, and now that he seems healthy, we're seeing him make great defensive plays. I think he's an all-star caliber player.

O's seem to have the Braves' number ever since inter-league play started.
Akin... wow, he kept the Braves' hitter off balanced - was not dependent on his good fastball - he looked for real to me.

There really is not a clear choice. Had Santander not gotten hurt, it would have been him.
I would still take Santander, but the argument for Iggy makes sense.

Yea, it is strange how some teams seem to get the best of others even when they do not play often.
The Orioles always seem to be the Braves, but always seem to lose to the Marlins.
