Eshelman is on the team in part, because he is not supposed to walk people.  he has walked 5 in the last 5 innings,  He can not come close to competeting if he continues that.

I like this lineup.  It has some power and speed.  This would be a good lineup for next year, if Mancini's name is in it.

I know 1B isn't the hardest defensive position in the world (cue the Moneyball reference) but I'm excited to see how Mountcastle will look there

I will be a little disappointed if he is not better than Nunez, who is hard to watch there.

 

I do think, we will not be able to make much of an evaluation this year.
