LOL, just wow.
Looks like he's still boycotting the NFL and Ravens. They had a Ravens section before and now I dont see one. Of course no NBA section either. Lol.

Has the NFL really gone much or any further than MLB regarding Black Lives Matter? Interesting choice by him.

He's a goober. I try hard not to be too judgemental but when someone consistently shows you who they are.
LOL, just wow.

Might be a setting somewhere, or it's just part of the board. Can look.
Thanks. I mean, it's not the end of the world (all things considered). I was just catching up on a thread or two the other day and I swear I wasn't in *that* good of a mood where I was liking everything in sight!
I'm trying so hard to think of a good socialism or redistributed wealth joke here, but can't get the wording right.
Visit this first thing tomorrow AM. My clearest thoughts occur around 7a...And then it's just a convoluted mess by 7p.

As I recall, he said he was completely finished with the Ravens after several players knelt at the 2017 London game. Nearly three years later, I guess he finally got around to taking care of that. Must be a busy guy.

I missed that one since I don't ever check out the foxhole.

Now that I recall more, it was a tantrum he threw on Facebook. Someone here must have picked up on it and linked to it, otherwise I'd have never known either. There were no lack of "bye Felicia" replies.

Yea he said he was done with the ravens. Them kneeling was amazing for my wallet. Got my PSLs super cheap! Presumably bought them from a racist!
I thought that PSLs might have been a pretty good investment. Was obvious the righteousness was just going to be short-term. Wasn't bold enough to try it, though, and didn't want pay for the tickets and have to sell them each week to make back that upkeep cost.

What upkeep cost?

I can watch the video and walk you through each mistake made by all officers in these videos. You can see the breakdown of communication/procedure in a lot of these videos. When you arrest someone you assume custody. You are responsible for their lives.
Here is a quick exercise. Put your arms behind your back. Sit flat on your butt up against a wall with your back on the wall. Now have two people a lot weaker then you put their hands on your shoulders and see if you can stand. Even if it was a drug overdose the officer broke protocol and went against his training. He also did not handle the situation and is responsible for getting him medical attention.
The latest one that has happened. There were three cops there. You know they were thinking man it would look bad if we all jumped on him to stop him, and put him in administrative detention. What looks worse shoot in the back 7 times or three people stopping you from entering your vehicle. He had to walk from the passenger side taillight to the driver side door. What the hell were they doing? It’s bad partnership. It’s not training unfortunately. You can’t learn life experiences in the academy. The academy is very militaristic.
We aren’t the military but need to be prepared. I have told my chief different strategies they can incorporate into training. I think we should have mandatory social worker calls. Follow social workers to their calls dressed down to see how mental health is handled. I think in the academy 14 days should be working/volunteer at a food bank dressed down again to learn how to talk to everyone. If this is sporadic through the academy fine. Maybe have reports on people you meet to force interactions. You can do anything with recruits. Police are not trained to be assholes. Police aren’t trained to be racist. There are no quotas. Yes people are being more confrontational now and it’s not about how kids are raised now it about things coming to the forefront on how each side is reacting. If anyone wants off board talking by all means message me. We can talk about the videos and what the officers were thinking in each of the videos and not me defending or being defensive but learning and identifying what went wrong.

Reddit is such a cesspool that I've never spent too much time there. It's good to see that there's at least a few threads that don't get dragged down into the right-wing conspiracy machine.

It looks like the Ravens section is still up, at least when I just checked. I do remember the original post after the kneeling where he quit on the Ravens. He jumped back in last season after the Cardinals game, but did not acknowledge my welcoming him back... Oh well.

I could see the Ravens forum on my phone last week. Couldnt when I checked earlier today. If its still there I apologize for the misinformation. I thought the no politics rule was a good one, maybe the best, it’s just a shame Tony didn’t follow it. lol
Yeah, and until recently everybody seemed comfortable staying in that lane. But times changed over the last couple of years and it's become impossible to completely divorce politics from sports or for that matter everyday life. (Martha, ignore those cardboard cutouts in the stands, they're Democrats!) See how easy it is?
Joking aside, completely removing politics from a message board has to be a community decision and for it to work, buy in has to start at the top. Of course leading by example is hard work so I hope a decision gets made that the community is worth the effort.
