Frobby was great.

It's pretty hard to find two posters with more opposite posting styles than he and Rob, though. 😄

Or Mackus and Rob, same thing IMO. There are so many times where Mac could've made me look silly, but he's remarkable at correcting folk without making it personal. Don't know him, met him a couple times at old Hangout Nights, but Mac is absolutely one of my favorite people because of this.

The short format of Twitter doesn't work for me. It'd be good for a game thread, quick responses happening in real-time.

But I'm a terrible writer so need to use lots of words to get my point across. Only Shack and maybe dude use more words than me. Did I just call them terrible writers? Not my intent (or my opinion)...anyways, there is an example of my bad writing and verboseness. I need the long format of the message board. Fortunately I type quickly.

 

I tend to do the same. I like to believe it just means we're more thoughtful....but it's probably we're more OCD and have to cover every base. Twice.

Hello everyone.  I have decided to finally make the switch from OH.  I am not new though. I've been reading BSL since its inception.  Chris has a great community here.  I never registered because I always felt I didn't need two places to post my Orioles/Ravens thoughts,  and most conversations are duplicated both here and on OH.  There have been a few times over the years I was tempted.    

 

I have been thinking a lot this year about complicity.  I do not wish to be a part of a site/community where the owner has no respect for the players he is covering.  That is what I see when I hear that site owner calling out Oriole players as not being informed on social issues.  Would he tell Frank Robinson to 'shut up and play' too?  Quite frankly, it's appalling to me.   

 

Anyway, glad to be here.
