Sulser seemed very comfortable working the 8th and 9th today. He showed 3 pitches and threw strikes. His fastball touched 94. Looking forward to seeing more.

After the blown save vs. NY came back last night and looked good vs. Tampa Bay.

That cutter/change thing he was throwing was nasty.

So have we given up on him? Think we might as well let someone at Bowie get the bullpen chance.

This is where we need Drungo to post about a dude that is 30, not a prospect, and dont expect him to be a stud HOF for you.

He is a guy who has totally lost his confidence.

Zach Britton told somebody in an interview (Probably Roch), thats the key to being a closer. When you suck and cost your team the victory, and you came back out the next night, you have to wipe that totally out of your mind and focus on the current game. He said next to impossible to do, but if you don't, it will have you 2nd guessing your every movement on the mound.

lost confidence was a Pedro Strop issue.

He doesn't throw as hard or have the movement that Strop had. Talent matters - as does confidence.

He definitely has a mental block closing but I feel like it's a lock he's gonna be traded to some contender for Latino teenage lottery tickets

2.70 ERA, 2.98 FIP, trailed only Tanner Scott for K/9 and tied Cesar Valdez for the team lead in saves
Not too shabby
