That was a great piece by Ben there. I have no idea how he finds the time to write such in-depth articles.
The Ngakoue de-commit is very disappointing. He would have been a great fit here. He claims MD still has a good chance, but obviously most guys de-commit for a reason.
Hopefully Gray is just going through the motions with his visits and is still solid as well.

Nice analysis. The article must have been published before Brigham left, so that's 83 scholarships committed for next season so far. If they hang on to Gray and get Rodgers, I'll be pleased. I think it's highly unlikely Ngakoue comes back into the fold.
Sounds like 2014 will be a very good year for MD-based players. I really hope they can get some of these guys that were mentioned. Just to show how far UM still has to go locally, of the Top 20 players in Maryland ranked by Rivals for 2013, only one has committed to the Terps (Cockerille), with one more (Rodgers) still a possibility. Of course those rankings are subject to change once the season ends.

I think how the team performs in October could have a big impact on their recruiting for next year. If the team shows that it can make progress, correct mistakes and win games (especially enough to go to a bowl), it'll show recruits that the team is rising back up and can be even better next year.
