Being a Colorado grad, not a lot of things I like about the Huskers, but he was all class! He's done a lot for Nebraska, and growing up it was easy to admire him. I remember being disappointed when he stepped down as head coach. I'm glad he was able to do more after his congressional stint, and hopefully he will be able to really retire this time.

Osborne has always been there when Nebraska needed him. And the Cornhuskers needed him often.
I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did. I thought he'd stay for 2-3 years max, definitely not 5.

Looks like he's headed to Nebraska
Eichorst addressed the scandal in a roundtable interview with Miami reporters on Nov. 1, 2011.
"I'm not making any excuses. I'm not asking anybody to feel sorry for me or anybody else," Eichorst said. "I've got a job to do and I'm only looking forward. I'm not looking backwards."
Guess he didn't want to deal with the fallout after all.
