Three weeks (and one day) until Selection Sunday. What have we learned so far this season?

Not much.

Gonzaga & Baylor are in the stratosphere. Everyone else can make the Final Four or lose in the first weekend. Filling out a bracket will require an eraser this year. Watch out for North Carolina, who really took it out on Louisville this evening. Michigan is a team coming off a Covid rest and not showing any rust. I just cannot stress how good the Bulldogs & Bears are - and how we’d be robbed if they didn’t meet in the NCAA final.

Besides Gonzaga & Baylor, who do you guys like?

I like Michigan better than Ohio State.

I like Villanova's offense... but just 81st via KenPom in Adjusted Defense.

I question if Virginia has enough athletically, but they are again very solid.

Florida State is interesting...  haven't seen enough of Alabama, Houston, and USC.

This Michigan/Ohio St. game did not disappoint at all.

Michigan's "A" game is right up there with the Zags and Baylor, IMO. Still have those 2 alone in the top tier, but Michigan is right there. And OSU isn't far behind.

After beating Indiana in their last game, Michigan State is leading #5 Illinois by 10 at the half. Never freaking fails, here come the Spartans.

Michigan continues to impress the heck out of me. Just a curb stomping against Iowa tonight,

Gonzaga stays perfect - they have one more game on Saturday for the perfect regular season. (First since Kentucky in ‘15).

And here’s one that won’t get noticed for two weeks. After the bracket comes out on Selection Sunday, the NCAA can slide in a team if they come down with Covid to anywhere on the board. They will have an alternate list of four teams that are ranked to take the place of the team that can’t play. So, if the 4-seed from bracket one is USC and they have Covid, the first team from the list (let’s say Duke) slides in. This is crazy and lives in actuality from Sunday at 6 P (bracket release) to Tuesday at 6 P. Forty eight hours of madness!

In later rounds, the team without Covid moves on in a walkover. Which is really how all of this should work.

Congrats to Roy Williams on win #900!!!

Big win over FSU.  Know CBS (Jerry Palm) has UNC back in the NCAAT field with that w.

900 w's is a big number.

Roy was a guest recently on the DC Coaches pod (Knoche, Gary Williams, etc). There were some good quotes there.

This gets them in for sure. Hopefully a 7 or 10 seed, I want no part of a #1 seed in the second round.

i heard that, listened off of the link on Knoche's twitter. Great stuff! Love me some Roy!!

I got to see a good bit of 1-2 and 3 yesterday.  I don’t think any played their best games.  Baylor looked rusty and got beat by Kansas, while the Zags and Michigan eventually over powered LMU and Indiana.

I still think Michigan is the best team I have seen this year, but Gonzaga is built to win and has the star power.  It would be fun to see them square off.

900 is a huge number.    I believe Roy is 70.  I wonder if he has 4 more years in him to make a run at 1000

ESPN scroll pointed out he's been at UNC for 18 years vs. 15 at Kansas... crazy, I still identify him with the Jayhawks.

I used to, but he is a Carolina guy, now to me.  I am not a Roy fan, but 900 is special.
