The more interesting comparision or debate to me would be Belanger vs Cal. Again, Cal is 4th All Time in dWar. Cal was a guy I saw but was too young to really appreciate defensively. Especially, during his 21 -29 yr old seasons in the 80s.
This is an interesting comparison. I would take Belanger. I think he had more range. Cal was very steady and had the better arm. I am biased as Belanger was my favorite player when I was a little league SS in the early 70's.
