Nice job.  In order for the Terps to progress and becoming a winning program, both lines need to get up to B10 standards.  They have good size and experience in the first group.  It will be interesting to see the improvement.

Man, we really need this group to stay healthy just to have average blocking at the bookends. I think the freshman Green is a dark horse to contribute by the end of the season.

Naturally, as soon as I write this the Terps get a major addition. N.C. State transfer Joseph Boletepeli has enrolled with Maryland after being expected to transfer to West Virginia. He'll slot in at the 5-technique end position in Jon Hoke's defense and will have a chance to compete for time on the two-deep immediately with three years of eligibility remaining.

 

Last season, Boletepeli had 11 total tackles in 6 games, with 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks. My early projection is that he'll slot in right behind Lawtez Rogers.

Just an oversight on my part, had him listed as an ILB for some reason. He'll certainly be in the mix for snaps, slightly undersized for a 3-4 OLB but is a solid special teams guy.

Isaiah Hazel has moved from WR to DB. He played both positions in high school, and the Terps will be hoping he follows a similar path to Tino Ellis.

Additionally, DL Tyler Baylor and LB Kameron Blount have moved to TE. This adds much-needed depth at the position.
