LOL at Washington.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

LOL at the Browns with better odds than 3 playoff teams.

40-1 on the Chargers is a nice bet, especially if Brady ends up there.

Don’t hate Minn at 25-1 either.

Brady in LAC sounds crazy, but it might happen.

I don't like them, even at 40-1 though.

And I hate to say it but NE at 14-1 is good value. As soon as Brady goes back there it will drop immediately.

Every spring a friend of mine would have to attend an IT conference in California (Anaheim, I believe it was), and as he was leaving, he'd call and say, "I'm detouring through Vegas. How much do you want to put down for the long-shot for next year's Super Bowl?" We'd each bet maybe $100 to $200, but we never came close. Only sports betting I ever did and it was not profitable, to say the least.

ESPN: Jaguars to play two London games in 2020 to boost revenue

I'd say this is good news/bad news for Jags fans in Jacksonville.

The good is that they can make enough money by doing this to be more closely competitive (money wise) with the rest of the league while still based in Jacksonville. It's probably more important now with the Rams, Chargers and Raiders, once teams at the bottom of the revenue scale with the Jags, getting a major stadium upgrade this season.

The bad news, aside from losing two home games now instead of just one, is that this would seem to be sending an obvious message that the team can't make it in Jacksonville without these games; and who's to say in the future they don't say they need to play 3 or 4 games over there every season?

The 49ers can actually walk away from Garoppolo's contract without a massive amount of dead money on the cap.  It will be worth monitoring that club, as it really would only be a QB1 away from title contention once again.  I don't see Shanahan doing that for what could be a 1 or 2 year rental of Tom Brady.

I can't see the market for him to go to Nashville.  I don't see the organization allowing him to fly home Sunday and not return until Tuesday each week for what is a young team because that is what he will want to go to that club.

Seeing Josh McDaniel stick with New England, I believe he will stay.

As for Dak, it will be interesting to see another club pay more than Jerry Jones will offer.  If he wants to break Russel Wilson, its either stay home or go to a crappy club....but see that 49ers could walk away from Jimmy and upgrade to a younger and better arm talent with legs to keep the drive moving.  That is a play I believe could happen as well.

Expanded playoffs.

Sounds like the new CBA will happen soon, which is great news as many thought a strike was likely.

I hate the idea of expanded playoffs.  Four division winners and two wild cards is enough.  This year the extra team in each league would have put the Steelers and Rams in the playoffs.   Expanded playoffs also has a down side.  More teams will clinch a spot earlier in the season.  They want to expand the season to 17 games.  What is the point if the final weeks feature more meaningless games?  Leave the everybody makes the playoffs feelings to the NBA and NHL.

I don’t have an issue with an extra team in the playoffs but a 17 game schedule is dumb.

I feel the reverse, Rob. Like 17 games (but doing it without adding a 2nd bye is dangerous), hate expanding the playoffs.

Yeah. Hate this idea. So a 13-3 two seed is gonna have to play a 7-9 7 seed....for what....and possibly lose a game they shouldn’t be in. Makes a lot of the regular season irrelevant if you can lose more games and get in.
