Gutty drive by ND cuts the lead to 14-7

Immediately answered by Bama.
Devonta Smith is as good a CFB receiver as I can remember

Notre Dame has played better than I thought they would, and yet it still feels like Alabama has been in complete control of this game.

Notre Dame turns it over on downs in the redzone. Down 31-7 with 8:43 left. That's ballgame.

I'd say about 75% of all CFP games haven't been remotely entertaining. Stop putting ND in a tournament they can't win.
I think any team not named Alabama, Clemson or Ohio State can not win,
And this year, I am not sure about the last 2.

Clemson can win. I wouldn't put OSU on that list...but they are about to get their chance to prove me wrong.

It shows how lopsided this whole affair is. Big hoopla because ND covered. Bama was favored by 19.5 points so who gives a rats that ND covered except those who bet on the game?

Pretty much true. Aside from 2 of the 3 Alabama/Clemson meetings in the final (2016 and 2017), and the Clemson-OSU semi-final game last year, I can't think of any truly good games off the top of my head.

Sorry, just a ridiculous "targeting" call on the Clemson defender. At some point you gotta let defenders make a tackle.

Fields and OSU on the doorstep for more.

8:30 left.
Still feels like Clemson has a chance to make this interesting.

Alabama apparently a 7 point favorite.

And so they did.
