Went up from 10 to 12, you must hate Brady. Love to see it.
Fair enough, he's still best QB ever to be suspended by the NFL for cheating and I hope he gets sacked 12 times this weekend.

Right there with you. Very concerned over WFT's offense, but I do think their defense is going to give Brady fits.I'm raising the ante.
I can't stand him.

Yeah, Chase Young is an incredible talent and their D gets after it. I agree that offense is a concern for WFT.

That's how I use to feel about Peyton Manning. I don't know why he irritated me so much but was ecstatic when he retired.

He remade the Colts ..... I was fine once he left Indy.
Im excited to see Mac Jones in the NFL but I fear it will be with the Patriots or Steelers.

DVOA needs to go back to the drawing board if KC is behind anyone. That's ridiculous.
DVOA also says the Ravens 2000 defense was 2nd best in the league that season.

There was a clip from when the Steelers played the WFT, and Chase Young was near the PIT sideline. Tomlin got his attention and said, “I hope we’re never bad enough to get a player like you.”

The Pats pick 15, they will trade down a few spots and still get Jones.

Probably right ... Bill needs to find ways to bring in some new blood at WR. I assume Edelmann will return but there is still very little there. As I mentioned, I'm concerned about the Steelers as well.

I doubt Jones gets down to the Steelers. I also wonder about Jone's mobility against NFL defenses.

Kiper Loves him!
"When you look at Mac Jones, middle of the first round sits the New England Patriots. We know about the Saban-Belichick connection. Is Mac Jones going to be a Patriot? We’ll see. That’s, I think, the ceiling, as high as Mac Jones could come off the board is the middle of the first round."

Football metrics are an interesting tool but they definitely don't tell the whole story. Anyone that watched that 2000 defense knows that they weren't just the best that year but arguably the best of all time.

Slightly off topic, saw Alex Collins scored a TD for the Seahawks this weekend. I had literally completely forgotten about him being here and effective for a little while.

Yeah, I read an article about him.
I believe that he started out on the practice squad for the Seahawks and worked his way on to the regular roster.
It was good to see after the way things ended here for him.
Hopefully, he is on a good path.

The 2000 Ravens defense was insanely dominant (obviously). Some stats that to my eye don't get enough play about them...
Out of 20 games played that mattered (playoffs included) the DEFENSE surrendered 10 points or less in 16 of them. 80% of the time they took the field, the DEFENSE gave up 10 or less. And that was with an offense that didn't always keep them off the field for LONG periods of time either. One of those 16 games, as a TEAM, they gave up 14 points but 7 of them were on an INT return while the offense had the ball.
In the 4 playoff games, the defense itself surrendered 16 points... total. The Giants only score in the Superbowl was on a kickoff return, which by chance happened because Duane Starks had just scored on defense with an INT return of his own. In the playoffs, the defense alone was outscored 16-7 over four games. Also in the AFC title game, the only 3 points the Raiders scored was on a drive that started inside the Ravens 40 after a Dilfer INT.
And the Titans took the #1 ranking largely due to the Jets coming out in the season finale deciding they would try to be Tom Brady before he even existed... and had Vinny chuck it up 69 times. SIXTY NINE passes in one game. So they managed to roll up a bunch of yardage which in the end was meaningless...
