The thing that amazes me about this offense is how machine-like they are. They almost lull you into this happy stupor as they wear teams down and break their spirit. And then, you walk away from another win, almost oblivious to the fact that Lamar ran for 100 yards again, the team piled up over 240 yards on the ground, accumulated almost 500 total yards and beat yet another team by at least 2 scores. They were sleep walking for the first quarter and a half and then, BAM!, the flood gates open up and the Browns had to know they were toast. Just an incredible offense to watch when they're firing on all cylinders.

I've never seen a team that can run the ball on 3rd and long and actually, consistently pick up the first by running the ball.
I also love that Harbaugh has basically put the defense on their heels by making the play all 4 downs. At this point, keep playing 4 down football and live or die by it. Nothing breaks the spirit of a defense more that having them bust their ass stopping the run on 3 downs, only to give up the first on 4th down when most other teams are punting or kicking.

MVP.
The trophy is on the way. Hope the Porch Pirates don't steal it.

I think Harbaugh starts Lamar and the O-linemen next week.
I hope not, but it is a Harbaugh thing to do.
If Lamar goes, then Stanley and Yanda have to go too.

I predicted 12 wins. And am man enough to admit that I was wrong:
I said 11 and was way short. Damn, what a team and what a season.
One of the first playoff games, I ever went to was 1971. The Colts beat the Raiders to go to the SB. Damn, it has been a long time. I want another. Go Ravens.

Baltimore will always have the distinction of hosting the first-ever AFC championship game.
A little off topic, but do you remember the plane crashing in the upper deck during the 1976 playoff against Pittsburgh? I wasn't there, but in retrospect, it was fortunate the game was a blowout and much of that section had already cleared out.

One of my older brother was there. He had upper deck seats that were about two sections from where the plane hit. I remember being pretty scared when I first heard about. Like many others, he had left early and was on a MTA bus when it happened. Very fortunate that no was killed or seriously injured

My seats were in section 8. The plane crashed into section 7. We had just started down the ramp, when we heard a noise. We walked back up to the seating bowl and saw, the plane. The guys name was Donald Kroner. He had been flying around the stadium all day. That was not unusual. One of the most memorable, was in John Unitas last game at the stadium. A plane circled late in the game, that simply read, "Unitas, we stand". The entire stadium did. My memory, and I may be wrong was that John, threw a long TD pass, to Eddie Hinton, who ran down the sideline not to be denied.

Your memory is correct.
Unitas threw the Td pass to Hinton.
