Missed this post from last month but seeing it now. I graduated from Northy County in 2000 and was a Freshmen when this play was put on.  I also know a few of the people in the article.  Not sure how KVV came upon and tweeted it but it's an interesting read.

I went back and found his original tweet - the reporter who had written the articles had just died.  I didn't know any of the people in the article, but it's amazing how he really makes you care about who gets to play Maria, and whether the rest of the cast can pull off the show.

I was never lucky enough to met Ken Fuson, but he influenced me as a writer tremendously. He wrote a 5-part serial narrative for the BaltSun about high school kids putting on a performance of West Side Story that is among my favorite pieces ever. Godspeed.

Funny story about this..I know someone who rents property from St Johns..the day after they announced the raises, they increased his rent.

My guess is they did that across the board.

See, it’s never “free”.

I liked this story about a guy from Baltimore who had friended a bunch of people on Facebook with the same name as him, and then during the pandemic they decided to form a virtual band.
