Seems like Missouri was hurt the whole time, why he was a liability. So they shut him down. He couldn’t move. They got the big Center back for the last two games, which they won. They need a healthy Missouri to have any chance to go far in the MIAA. They have one of the best players in the league, who can score at will. He matches up with any guard in the league, outside of Ace Baldwin(think he will be a better player by the time he’s a senior though).
Yea, I would think that they would need him. Pallotti is not big, who they have next Friday, but they’ll need to give Hinds some help after that. Outside St Frances (who the Hounds play Friday, before taking on the Black Knights on Saturday), very little separates the next 9 teams in the MIAA. They all can, and have, beat each other. The Black Division, which includes Gilman, is wide open between themselves, Glenelg Country, McDonogh, and Pallotti. The other three, Gerstell, Boys Latin, and AAC, aren’t very good.
With SFA headlining the Red Division, five of the other six can complete every night - Mt St Joe, Mt Carmel, Spalding, Loyola, and John Carroll, with that five joining the quartet from the Black Division in the free-for-all. My father, who lives in Naples, saw the Panthers loss to Sunrise Christian KS in the City of Palms Tournament before the break. He said they were outmatched that day. Saw the program he brought back when he came back last week, and noticed Monteverde, who along with IMG were also in the tournament, had 10 players ranked among the top 50 in their respective classes.
