That might have been a top 10 episode of the Game of Thrones-verse.

I think this show is already better than GoT or is at least on track to be.

I’m not on social media - has it gotten to that viral status yet? I agree Bob and Dupin. Definitely loving it.

I think its getting there. More people are watching each week according to the ratings, feels big from my curated viewpoint.

If it stays at this quality and has a well done ending, that is not a crazy take.

Seems like it's on the edge of being the show everyone has to watch again. I feel like it needs the big event that shocks everyone to truly push it over that edge. I feel like with the original show, the execution of Ned is what sent it to the stratosphere. Not many forms of media have the balls to take a beloved, seemingly main character, and just off them unceremoniously. That feeling that no one was safe really set the tone.

Source material definitely has those same twists. Just hope the show runners pull them off properly.

The Ringer: ‘House of the Dragon’ Episode 8 Mailbag: Aging Up Aemond

He did look much older than his older brother, but I was trying to suspend disbelief and say the eyepatch was aging him.

Aemond looks great, the problem is that I think the new Aegon actor actually looks younger than the previous.
