Maryland returns home to face #14 Michigan on Saturday afternoon, which is homecoming for the university. The Wolverines currently stand at 6-2 (3-2), and upset Notre Dame in a rainy blowout at home last weekend. The last time they visited College Park in 2016, they walked away with a 35-10 victory. This is the second of three nationally televised games in a row for Maryland.

Wins: Army, Illinois, Iowa, Middle Tennessee, Notre Dame, Rutgers

Losses: Penn State, Wisconsin

I'd be slightly more confident playing Northern Michigan

Homecoming vs. Michigan? That's hilarious.

It'll be the first homecoming I haven't gone to since I graduated. No desire to spend upwards of $80 on an upper deck ticket to sit in the cold and watch a blowout. I'll be tailgating and heading to Looney's to watch the game (and other, better games).

That being said, I'd much rather play a real team on homecoming instead of some cupcake. People used to laugh whenever they played Clemson or Florida State on homecoming back in the ACC days, but I always thought that was the way to go. Your best October/early November home game should be homecoming.

I guess Howard didn't have an opening on their schedule for early Nov.

Unless you're in a frat or sorority homecoming is mostly just another home game.  Maybe if you live further away and only try to get back for one game a year then it might be a little different.

Locksley says that Tyrrell Pigrome is limited in practice this week due to a knee injury. Josh Jackson is working with the first-team, Tyler DeSue with the second-team.

Nice design to the TE.  Should be that easy.

Leake with another first.

MD with 190 yards on the ground per game... 40 something overall nationally.

With the backs MD has, should be higher.... if you had any consistent passing presence, it would be.

3rd and 7, Jackson hesitates (again), is hit and with the ball in the air... it's picked.  MD's long drive ends with no points.

MD's defense with a good series. Michigan punting near the end of the 1st.
