This isn't necessarily related to athletics, but MacKenzie Scott (Jeff Bezos' ex-wife) announced a charitable donation today of $4.2 billion to 384 different organizations that focus on underserved segments of the population. Part of that will be $40 million for Morgan State. It is the largest private donation ever made to the university, and about twice as much as their current endowment.

Akron 24, Morgan State 21. A week after upsetting Richmond, Morgan State nearly scored a historic FBS win. In fact, it looked like the Bears had made it happen when Jordan Toles picked off a pass with 1:08 left. All they had to do was run out the clock, but CJ Nunnally IV and Bryan McCoy wouldn't let that happen.
